Hey there, I’m Abbey. Thanks for stopping by!

I’m a designer and maker living in Chicago. By day I work in marketing for a non-profit arts organization and by night I can usually be found in my studio scheming up a new project (that or trying to convince my first-grader to go to bed at a reasonable hour).

When I was four, I wrote and illustrated my very first book, the story of imaginary pet mice, Petey and Bruce. It’s safe to say that I’ve been creating for nearly all my life.

I judge a town by the quality of its thrift stores and have very little patience for movies that don’t pass the Bechdel test. I’m a passionate advocate for social justice and believe in the power of great design to make change. I live on the near South side of Chicago with my partner,  that previously mentioned 6 year old, and two noisy dogs.

See more from me on Twitter or Instagram, or reach out and say hello.
